The Presidential CEO Forum (PCF) in collaboration with the Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) embarked on a significant Stakeholder engagement in Northern Uganda aimed at advancing coffee cultivation in the region. Their collaborative efforts aimed to revitalize the local coffee industry, boost productivity, and enhance the livelihoods of local farmers. The delegation engaged with various coffee value chain actors, district technical staff, and cultural and religious leaders to foster collaboration and support for the region's coffee cultivation efforts.
Ahead of the upcoming 5th Bi-Annual Retreat in Gulu, the Presidential CEO Forum, a distinguished platform fostering private sector involvement in policy formulation and implementation, hosted a PCF Trade Legal Clinic Workshop under the theme: “Enhancing Uganda's export performance through a combined focus on increasing volumes and adding value”. The Workshop aimed to empower businesses in Arua to leverage Arua’s strategic position thereby amplifying Uganda’s export volumes through the implementation of value-added processes.
Ahead of the 5th bi-annual retreat under the Theme: “Battle to green field: Transforming Northern Uganda into a commercial production & logistic Hub for export,” the Presidential CEO Forum conducted a four-day field visit to Northern Uganda.
