The Presidential CEO Forum (PCF) was inaugurated by H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on 24 August 2021 at State House, Entebbe. The Forum was established to serve as a direct and strategic platform that brings together private sector leaders, Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) from corporate institutions, and senior government officials to strengthen public-private dialogue and contribute to Uganda's national development agenda.
The establishment of the PCF marked a significant milestone in enhancing collaboration between government and the private sector, providing a structured mechanism for identifying business challenges, informing policy reforms, promoting investment, and supporting Uganda's socio-economic transformation.

Since its inauguration, the Presidential CEO Forum has continued to strengthen partnerships between government and the private sector by facilitating high-level dialogue, promoting evidence-based policy recommendations, and advancing initiatives that enhance Uganda's competitiveness, industrialisation, investment climate, and sustainable economic growth.
The Presidential CEO Forum (PCF) is governed by a distinguished Board comprising leaders from the public and private sectors who provide strategic direction and oversight to the Forum. The Board champions collaboration between government and the private sector to advance Uganda's socio-economic transformation through policy dialogue, investment promotion, and sustainable development.
The Board provides strategic leadership to the Presidential CEO Forum by fostering high-level engagement between government and the private sector. It guides the Forum's work in promoting evidence-based policy recommendations, improving the business environment, attracting investment, supporting industrialisation, and advancing Uganda's national development priorities.
The PCF delivers on it's vision through three key initiatives that include:
Compliment government with practical interventations on economic recovery,enterpreneurship growth and value addition that will enhance home-engineered industrialisation.
Fostering the social economic transformation agenda in all policy convesations that are to administer private sector participation.

The PCF is mandated to be the leading forum that champions private sector enterpreneurs to actively participate in economic activities that foster private sector development and private sector inclusion in policy formulation.
